I’m interested in knowing how exactly they arrived at this conclusion. We all love to hate on our fair share of pop music (myself included), but less diverse timbre? That seems surprising given all the electronic sounds everyone plays around with nowadays.
Well, we released our first 3-song EP in mid-February. And now we’ve released two more!!!
They are called Ebb and Flow and From Way Up Here. As you may notice, the two songs are completely different in terms of style. The former being very stripped down and intimate while the latter being big, reverby, and layered. Regardless, I’m REALLY proud of these songs and they are probably my favorite on the album so far. I’m especially proud of the electric guitar tones we captured on From Way Up Here. They sound absolutely beautiffffuullllllllllllll. Now, I guess the only problem is…how do we play it live with just two people??
That in itself is gonna be an issue but I’m sure we’ll work something out. Speaking of which check out our upcoming shows at www.hunterandwolfe.com. We’ve been getting some good turnouts lately and we wanna keep the momentum going! Thank you everyone whose been promoting!
And most importantly, CHECK OUT THE NEW SONGS at www.hunterandwolfe.bandcamp.com. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact me at hunterandwolfe@gmail.com. We’ve been getting a bunch of e-mails lately and have really enjoyed all your questions from chord charts to gear to lyrics, etc. etc. We don’t mind! Keep them coming!!!

Check it out!! and tell your friends! the more people following this blog, the better!
that’s right people/person, the album is finally underway in a rather underwhelming fashion: started acoustic tracking for build me a boat to nowhere. realized how tough it is to slow down your play by 5 bpm when youre accustomed to the same tempo all the time. we couldnt be happier with the sound were getting but we are considering moving our operation to a dedicated, soundproofed location. more to come on that.
were sending out out EP for press reviews and will have plenty more on that along with some new videos (possibly an official music video courtesy of aymann.com) and some pictures from the studio.
stay tuned.

Rehearsals start today for our Princeton show, where we are being filmed and put on T.V. This is the first time we’ve done that sort of thing so we’re a little nervous. If you’re in the Princeton area though, come check it out! We’re playing at Cafe Improv.
As for our record, we have barely started the actual recordings yet. We found that we need to tidy up some loose ends such as soundproofing, etc. One of the mics we are using is super-responsive and picks up just about everything, which is great and not-so-great, especially when it comes to semi-noisy/echoey basements. Will take some pictures of our studio setup and put them up on our website and I’ll be sure to keep a little ‘studio diary’ and put up vids of us slaving away and going mad after being locked up and working for hours on end.
Also, you may have found that the tags for my posts are a little…unorthodox. I basically just try a combination of whatever comes to my head and whatever I think people are searching for, so our blog shows up as much as possible. Please excuse my bad Tumblr etiquette.
